To remove the door panel of the Volkswagen Golf, use a tool to pry off the trim along the handrail in the centre of the door: once this trim is detached, you can undo the screws underneath, along with those located at the bottom of the panel. After all screws have been removed, detach the panel from the door by disconnecting the connectors; this will allow you to connect the new panel to the connectors and secure it with the appropriate fixing screws.
