If you want to replace the brake bulb located inside the rear light of your Volkswagen Golf Mk6, simply follow the instructions in this new mini guide to do it quickly and safely. The first step is to lift the rear hatch of the car. Next, remove the protective fabric layer located on the inner side (next to the light with the faulty bulb) and completely unscrew the white cap. Now, go back outside and remove the entire light unit. Dismantle it to access the brake bulb and replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble the light unit, reposition it in its original position, and screw the white safety cap back on.
