How to Replace the Steering Wheel on a Volkswagen Golf 4?

To replace the steering wheel on a Volkswagen Golf 4, you need to loosen the airbag retaining clips located at the back of the steering wheel: before performing this operation, disconnect the battery to avoid unexpected airbag deployment. Once the clips are removed, disconnect the airbag connectors, fully removing it. After the airbag is removed, you can unscrew the central nut that secures the steering wheel to the steering column, completely removing it. Then, install the new steering wheel by reconnecting the airbag and securing it with the rear clips.
