The air filter is one of the engine parts most prone to wear, so it is good practice to replace it every 6,200 miles. Having an efficient air filter improves the air quality in your engine. Replace the filter when the engine is cold. Open the bonnet and locate its position. Remove the cover of the housing by unscrewing the screws or unhooking the side clips; the filter is located next to two black rubber hoses.
