The following guide shows how to change the air filter of your car using classic DIY methods. The air filter is one of the engine parts most prone to wear, so it is good practice to replace it every 6,200 miles.

Having an efficient air filter improves the air quality in your engine. Replace the filter when the engine is cold.

Open the bonnet and locate its position. Remove the cover of the housing by unscrewing the screws or unhooking the side clips; the filter is located next to two black rubber hoses.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
