Replacement of Engine Air Filter

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010
Part: Air filter

Periodic replacement of this filter is recommended to maintain high engine performance. Open the engine bonnet and locate the filter housing on the right side of the engine. Disconnect the air intake hose and then remove the cover by taking out the eight side screws. Remove the old filter and insert a new one. Before inserting the new filter, clean the interior of any dust deposits. Carefully close the air box, ensuring it fits perfectly with the cover. Accurately reassemble the flexible hose. Start the engine and check for proper operation.
