How to Replace the Air Filter on a Volkswagen Passat

If the air filter in the engine bay of your Volkswagen Passat B7 is excessively worn and you want to replace it with a new one, follow these steps. First, completely turn off the vehicle and lift the bonnet. Locate the air filter box in the lower right area of the engine bay and remove all the screws around the perimeter of the cover. Once done, remove the cover and replace the air filter. Finally, refit the cover correctly and re-screw the various screws.
