Discover how to correctly replace the air filter located in the engine bay of your Volkswagen Passat B6. Before you start, ensure the car is turned off and parked safely. Then, fully lift the bonnet and locate the air filter box in the centre (at the bottom). Unscrew the screws using an appropriate screwdriver (or battery-powered driver) and remove the cover. At this point, replace the old filter with the new one, and finally, reassemble everything correctly, remembering to screw back the safety screws removed earlier.
