Operation: How to replace the rear view mirror cap in Volkswagen Golf?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the wing mirror cap in the Volkswagen Golf, a very simple and fast operation. First of all we grab the upper edge of the glass of the mirror in question, then we leverage with the help of a flat-tipped screwdriver and release it from its support. We then disconnect the two rear connectors, unlock the lower metal clip and separate the shell from the frame by levering along the external joint. To fit any spare part, simply follow the reverse procedure.
