To manually reset the service light that stays on in the instrument cluster of your Volkswagen Golf Mk4 (2000-2003), follow these simple steps. First, ensure the car is completely off. Insert the key and turn it to the second position. Turn on the instrument cluster while simultaneously holding down the button located below the speedometer. After a few seconds, release the button and turn the one located below the rev counter to the right. The procedure is now successfully completed.
