The air filter located in the engine bay of your second-generation Volkswagen Tiguan (2016-2023) should be replaced periodically to prevent abnormal engine overheating. Below, we will discover how to perform this operation. First, turn off the car and park it safely on a flat surface. Then, lift the front bonnet and locate the air filter housing. Unscrew all the various screws present and proceed to remove the protective cover of the housing. Once done, replace the old filter with the new one.
