Manual Reset of Service Light

Model: Volkswagen Transporter T4, MK 4 - Years 1990-2003
Part: Service warning light

After performing regular maintenance with the oil and filter replacement, the reset of the SERVICE warning light is done manually without any diagnostic tools; it simply involves executing a precise sequence with the buttons at the base of the instrument cluster. Proceed as follows:
- Ignition off
- Press and hold the button at the bottom right of the instrument cluster
- Turn on the ignition while still holding the button
- Release the right button
- Rotate the left button to the right and then to the left
- Reset completed.
