Instructions for Removing Rear Light

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

Replacing the rear light is extremely simple and only requires a 10 mm T-spanner; open the rear boot, move the carpet lining at the location of the light and detach the bulb holder, even without disconnecting the power connector; then unscrew the three fixing nuts of the light and extract it from its housing; proceed in reverse for reinstallation but it is advisable to clean the housing of the light itself to prevent debris from damaging the light or creating unsightly halos over time.
