The timing belt is perpetually under tension and is often subjected to sudden changes in temperature: for this reason it is produced with a plastic material, elastic and resistant to continuous external stresses. On this car, the belt must be replaced according to the timing set out in the use and maintenance manual, which provides for replacement between 120,000 and 180,000 km or 6.8 years.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?

In order to open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5, you need to press the appropriate button inside the passenger compartment, which is located in the rear part of the glove box on the driver's door.
