To replace the water pump of the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TSi, you will need to lift the car in order to have access to the components in the lower part of the engine compartment: you will be able to locate the water pump on the left side compared to the engine block. You will need to remove the corresponding pulley and free it from the timing belt: the pump can now be disconnected from the respective pipes and freed from the support screws. In this way, it will be possible to position the new pump on the side to verify that everything is functioning properly.
