Here’s a simple procedure to reset the Climatronic on the Volkswagen Passat B6. In fact, this method performs a calibration and a self-test to resolve issues with the air flaps. Thanks to this procedure, the Climatronic will recalibrate the maximum positions of the ventilation flaps, helping with problems like clicking under the dashboard, or hot or cold air being stuck, or the recirculation not working. To enter this mode, simply press two buttons simultaneously: the air towards person button and the "ECON" button at the bottom. Pressing them together will activate the procedure, and it will do everything by itself.
