Replacement of the External Wing Mirror

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

The external wing mirror is fixed to its support, allowing adjustment via plastic clips; to replace it, lever behind the old mirror to detach it and disconnect the wires for the heating element; then connect the wires to the new mirror (there is no polarity to respect), align the fixing clips with the support and press until it clicks into place; this part can be easily found in the aftermarket at reasonable prices.
