To replace the armrest on the centre console of the Volkswagen Polo, lower the small compartment located at the back of the armrest by unscrewing the screws that secure it. Once this compartment is removed, you can also detach the side covers to access the screw that holds the entire armrest in place.

This screw can now be unscrewed, allowing you to completely remove the armrest from its housing.

At this point, install the new armrest, ensuring it is properly secured with screws and covered with the panels removed earlier.
