How to reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Touran?

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Touran, press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument panel while the panel is off. Continue holding the button while inserting the ignition key into the switch and turning it to power on the instrument panel.

Once the panel is on, keep holding the button for a few seconds; then turn the button on the left clockwise, noting that the light will be reset.

At this point, the panel can be turned off.
