How to Replace the Rear Brake Pads

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

To begin, open the brake fluid reservoir and ensure there is enough space to prevent overflow due to the level rising during subsequent operations.
Position the car on a jack and remove the wheel. Using a 13mm and 15mm spanner, unscrew the bolts securing the cover on the brake caliper and open it. Remove the pads with a flat screwdriver and replace them.

In the video, you can see the procedure for completely removing the disc if needed.

The video works on a Volkswagen Golf MK5 GTi, but the guidelines are useful for all cars with the same type of brake.
