Replacement of Rear Suspension Springs

Replacing the rear suspension spring is relatively straightforward compared to the front suspension, as the spring and damper are not co-axial but separate. Lift the vehicle on a ramp and remove the front wheel. Place a jack under the suspension and remove the shock absorber mounting bolt to slide it out and lower the suspension. Use a lever to lower it further and extract the old spring, then insert the new one. Refit the shock absorber and the wheel.
