If you need to replace the engine air filter on your Volkswagen Golf 5, you are in the right place. In a few steps, you will discover how to carry out this operation completely DIY. First, turn off the ignition, stand in front of the car, and open the bonnet. Now, grab a Phillips screwdriver and remove the four screws that hold the cover securely to the filter housing. You will now see the filter; to remove it, simply unscrew the single screw on the plastic clip. Clean the filter housing thoroughly and reposition the new filter in its place. Now, reattach the clip screw and the four screws that secure the filter housing.
