Dismantling the Air Conditioning Compressor

If you need to dismantle the air conditioning compressor, the very first operation is to recover the refrigerant gas to prevent it from escaping into the environment during disassembly; after recovering the gas with the appropriate tool, loosen the tensioner of the auxiliary belt, which is located just behind the alternator, to free the compressor pulley; then disconnect the pipes by removing the fixing pin of the flange connection and access the compressor from underneath to dismantle the relevant fixing pins and complete the disassembly.
