To disassemble the car stereo it is necessary, first of all, to buy the right equipment. Let's take the two teeth that we insert in the 2 slots that we find on the sides of the volume keys and the tuner. In this way we disengage the car radio from the dashboard. Now we insert 2/3 fingers into the slot of the music tapes and, gently, we pull the radio towards us until it is completely out of its position in the dashboard. Carefully disconnect the three plugs on the left of the stereo from the power supply and, on the right of the stereo (paying attention to the type of joint), disconnect the antenna connection. The car is a Volkswagen Golf but the procedure is equally valid for the Jetta, Bora and Beetle.
