Removing the Radio from a VW Golf 3

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf III, MK 3, Golf 3 - Years 1991-1997

Is the radio in your Golf 3 damaged or too old? Here’s how to remove it from the central dashboard. Insert the release keys into the slots on the plastic trim of the stereo (side part as shown in the video). Pull the stereo towards you as shown in the video, carefully extracting the radio while being mindful of the various wiring. Connect the power connectors to the new radio, insert it into the central dashboard (use the supplied adapter if it’s a generic brand). Secure the radio in the central dashboard. Turn on the ignition and test the new radio.
