To deactivate the Lane Assist of the Volkswagen Taigo, you need to turn on the instrument panel by pressing the appropriate button located next to the steering column. Then, you will need to press the button located at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel to bring up a specific menu. When the "Lane Assist" text appears, press the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel. This will remove the checkmark next to the corresponding label, indicating that the system is deactivated. To reactivate it, simply press OK again and reapply the checkmark.
