How to Reset the Oil Change Light on the 2014 Passat

This video demonstrates the procedure to reset the oil change light on the 2014 Volkswagen Passat. The procedure is very simple and quick. First, activate the hazard lights, then press and hold the 0.0/set button while starting the instrument cluster. Once the instrument cluster is on, within 20 seconds, release the 0.0/set button and press the button located on the left side of the dashboard. At this point, the procedure will be complete, and you can safely restart the instrument cluster. It is advisable to perform this procedure only after changing the engine oil if the light remains on.
