Today, you will see how to reset the service light and engine oil change light on a Volkswagen Passat model B8. To reset the light, press the button with the "0.0" symbol located below the dashboard while turning on the vehicle. Keep the button pressed for the duration of the update of the mileage to the next service and engine oil change. If the reset is unsuccessful, you will need to visit an authorised workshop for a computerised diagnosis to resolve the issue. After the diagnosis, it may be necessary to replace the oil level sensor.
