This guide shows you how to remove and replace the gear knob on the Volkswagen Golf by following these simple steps. First, get into the vehicle and start by detaching and removing the gear gaiter found at the base of the lever; then disconnect the metal clip located between the gaiter and the knob to remove the latter from the gear lever, as shown in the video.

At this point, install the new gear knob; then secure the gaiter onto the knob using the appropriate clip, following the video tutorial until the end!
