How to adjust the handbrake on a Volkswagen vehicle

In this video, you will learn how to adjust the manual handbrake on a Volkswagen vehicle, whether it is a Golf, Polo, Jetta, or Vento. Start by lowering the cup holder located at the end of the centre console, just behind the handbrake. You will need a Torx screwdriver with a size 20 tip. After removing the cup holder, you will find the handbrake adjustment screw right in front of you, so simply use a 10 mm spanner to adjust it tighter or looser according to your needs. The ideal setting is when the handbrake is fully pulled with three "clicks", so test it a few times until you achieve the optimal result.
