Volkswagen Polo - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo V, MK V, 6R, Polo 5, MK 5 - Years 2009-2017
Part: Headlight
Operation: How to remove the front headlight and replace the bulbs in a Volkswagen Polo 6r.

In this short video tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the front headlight in a Volkswagen Polo R6 and replace the high and low beam bulbs and the position lights. First, you need to purchase the new bulbs from an authorized auto parts dealer. The next step is to get into the car, turn off the engine, and engage the handbrake. Pull the hood release lever and lift the hood, then secure it with the provided rod. Unscrew the two screws of the headlight using a T30 wrench. Next, pull the headlight forcefully outward, and it will come out. Now, you need to disconnect the plug, and the headlight will come out completely. Replace the non-functioning bulbs (make sure to insert the positive side correctly, as the bulb won't work if inserted the wrong way). Once you have replaced the bulbs, you need to reassemble the headlight by pushing it inward and screwing in the screws.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
