Instructions for Removing the Front Bumper

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

To easily remove the front bumper, it is recommended to lift the vehicle on suitable car stands, as removing the front wheels provides more space to manoeuvre the wheel arch lining and access the bumper fixing pins; with that said, start by opening the front bonnet to remove the grille and front lights; then proceed to unscrew the screws securing the lower part of the bumper, followed by the upper part to access the wheel arches and unscrew the final screws to complete the removal.
