Removing the Front Bumper on Golf 4

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

Replacing the front bumper on the Golf 4? Not sure how to do it? Unscrew the fastening bolts located at the top of the bumper (after removing the front grille) using a socket spanner. Once the bolts at the top are removed, unscrew the rivets of the splash guards and finally remove the bolts located at the bottom of the bumper. Remove the bumper from the vehicle body by hand. Screw all the screws onto the new bumper around the splash guard and around the perimeter of the bumper, tightening the bumper at the top. Fit the central grille into the front bumper.
