To manually reset the service light on your Volkswagen Polo 9N (year 2001-2009), follow this procedure. First, enter the car and get into the driver's seat.

Make sure the ignition is completely off and press and hold the "Set" button located in the centre lower part of the dashboard for about ten seconds. Then insert the key and turn on the ignition.

Release the "Set" button and press the button located to its left once. The reset is now successfully completed, and you can turn off the ignition.
