In order to adjust the handbrake of the Volkswagen Golf, you need to completely remove the cover located at the back of the central armrest by prying it with an object. Once this cover is removed, you can fully remove the ashtray compartment, allowing access to the underlying parts. Here, you will be able to locate the bolt that allows you to adjust the intensity of the handbrake. By tightening the bolt, the lever will become harder, while loosening it will make the handbrake lever softer.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
