How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Up?

Model: Volkswagen Up MK 1 - Years 2011-2024

On the Volkswagen Up, resetting the service light is done by holding down the "0.0/SET" button located on the right side of the instrument cluster while it is off. Continue to hold the button, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch, and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster: once it is on, release the button and select "OK" on the confirmation message that appears on the display using the steering wheel controls. This will reset the service light, and you can then turn off the instrument cluster.
