In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the automatic gear knob in the Volkswagen Tiguan. First, ensure that the key is not inserted, then open the ashtray and unclip the plastic base. Next, disconnect the indicated connector, unclip the internal plastic cylinder using a flat-head screwdriver, and proceed to remove the right side cap of the knob. At this point, push the side button outward, unclip the indicated metal pin, and separate the knob from the shaft. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
