These short and simple instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the gear shift knob of the Volkswagen Tiguan. First, we get into the car and start by removing the shift boot from the base, gently levering on the sides; then we remove the clamp found between the clamp and the gear shift knob, pulling it upwards to detach and remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we install the new gear shift knob, inserting it perfectly onto the lever; if necessary, we also replace the boot, finally fixing the knob and the boot with a clamp.
