How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Polo?

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Polo, turn on the ignition and repeatedly press the button with the two rectangles located in the centre of the dashboard: keep pressing until the screen shows the mileage and the trip odometer. At this point, you can turn off the ignition and then press and hold the 0.0/SET button: while holding it down, turn the ignition key and turn the dashboard back on. Now you can release the button and press the rectangle button again; this will turn off the light.
