- Years 2019-2024 To reset the infotainment system of the Volkswagen Golf, first turn on the instrument panel by turning the ignition key inside the corresponding block. Once the panel is on, press and hold the power button located at the bottom left of the central screen. While holding it, you will notice that the screen will turn off completely and then turn back on after a few seconds. This indicates that the infotainment system has been reset and the settings have been restored to their default values.
