Replacement and Maintenance of Front Headlight Bulbs

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Headlight bulb

Open the bonnet and proceed to remove the battery. Remove the two screws on the plastic part above the headlight in question to access it. Inside, there are additional covers for each bulb, secured by clip springs. Open the largest one where the main beam, indicator, and dipped beam bulbs are located. Disconnect the connectors to access the bulb. Now you can replace it with the new one, ensuring the correct orientation and avoiding touching the bulb with your hands. Proceed to replace the other bulbs if necessary, reconnect all the connectors, and reposition everything correctly.
