On the Volkswagen Caddy, the procedure to reset the Service light involves holding down the button located at the bottom right of the instrument panel, labelled "0.0/SET". While holding it down, turn on the instrument panel by turning the ignition key. After the panel is on, you can release the button at the bottom right of the speedometer and press the button at the bottom left once. This will turn off the Service light permanently, and at the end of the operation, you can also turn off the instrument panel by turning the ignition key.
