How to Reset the Trip Odometer on a Volkswagen Atlas?

To reset the trip odometer on a Volkswagen Atlas, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch to power on the dashboard. Once the dashboard is on, navigate through the menu using the arrows on the side of the steering wheel. When the display shows the miles since the last reset, press and hold the 0.0 button located in the center bottom of the instrument cluster. After a few seconds, the indicator will disappear from the instrument cluster.
