In this tutorial, you will see how to enter the unlock code for the radio in the Volkswagen Passat, an extremely simple and quick operation, to be done for example after disconnecting the battery or to perform a reset. The code can be found in the documents provided at purchase, but if lost, it can be retrieved through one of the various online services. Once obtained, insert the key and turn on the ignition, then enter the first digit by repeatedly pressing the "1" button. Continue by entering the remaining digits with the "2", "3", and "4" buttons, and save the setting by selecting "ENTER".
