To reset the radio on a Volkswagen Passat, turn on the instrument panel by inserting the appropriate key into the ignition. Once the panel is on, you will notice that the radio powers up. To reset it, press and hold the button located at the bottom left of the radio; this will turn it off. When it powers back on, press the same button again, and you will see that the settings have been restored.
