The service light reset on a Volkswagen Golf model 8 is necessary after completing the service steps. To reset the light, do the following: - Turn on the instrument cluster; - Press the Menu button on the steering wheel; - Scroll through the Menu and select "Vehicle Info"; - From the submenu, select "Service" and then "Reset"; Wait a few seconds and then return to the main Menu. Complete the service light reset by turning off and then back on the instrument cluster to confirm the reset.
