How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019
Part: Service warning light

You can completely clear the Service light that appears on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Golf by holding down the 0.0 button located at the centre of the instrument cluster while it is off. Continue holding the button down, then turn the key in the lock to activate the instrument cluster: releasing the button will show a message asking if you really want to reset the maintenance and oil light. Press the OK button on the lever to the right of the steering wheel or on its right side to clear the light.
