To program the key of the Volkswagen Tiguan, insert it into the corresponding ignition switch. Once inserted, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port, located just below the steering column.

After connecting the scanner, select the car model and its corresponding version: this will allow you to code the key, associating it with the car's ECU. Once coding is complete, disconnect the scanner and verify that the key is functioning.
