How to Remove the Glove Compartment in a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

First, remove the outer side cover of the glove compartment using a screwdriver to pry it off. Be careful not to break it, especially the clips that allow it to fit in place. Once this is done, proceed to unscrew the screws using the appropriate tool that secure the compartment in position. The screws are located three at the bottom, outside the compartment, and another at the top inside. Open the compartment door, and from the side where you removed the cover, press a clip and push towards the door to remove a plastic element that secures the compartment on its left side. At this point, you can remove the compartment by pulling it out of its housing and disconnecting the tube and various cables attached to it.
