To replace the cabin filter on a Volkswagen Passat, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side. Once opened, detach the pins inside so that the glove compartment can be fully lowered, providing access to the components at the back.

Here, you will find the filter cover, which must be removed to pull out the filter inside. After removing the old filter, insert the new one and refit the glove compartment.
