How to Remove the Cabin Filter on a Volkswagen Passat

Learn how to remove and replace the cabin filter in the cabin of a Volkswagen Passat. The cabin filter is located at the bottom left of the glove compartment. Use a plastic lever to pry off the cover located at the bottom left of the dashboard (unscrew the securing pins), get a screwdriver or a cordless drill, remove the cap from the filter holder, then extract the worn cabin filter. Insert a new cabin filter, ensuring it fits snugly around the walls of the box, reattach the filter box cap, and tighten the screws. Check the correct installation of the previously mounted parts.
